This year, for our 10th anniversary, we are breaking new ground with our collaborations with Austrian Mozarteum University and Russia's Gnessin Piano School . As part of the festival, we are offering our students the opportunity to receive free summer training at these distinguished schools. This inspiring collaboration is an international celebration of talent and effort."

COMPETITION SPECIFICATIONS
MOZART AKADEMİ ULUSLARARASI PİYANO YARIŞMASI ŞARTNAMESİ
1. Yarışma Kategorileri ve Formatı: Mozart Akademi Uluslararası Piyano Yarışması, aşağıdaki yaş kategorilerinde ve iki aşamalı olarak düzenlenecektir:

15-20 Yaş
Her katılımcı yalnızca kendi yaş kategorisinde yarışabilir.
2. Katılım ve Sertifikalar
-
Yarışmaya katılan tüm katılımcılara sertifika verilecektir.
-
Dereceye giren katılımcılardan jüri tarafından belirlenenler, Ödül Töreni kapsamında düzenlenecek Final Konseri'nde sahne almak zorundadır.
-
Sertifikalar yalnızca Ödül Töreninde teslim edilecek olup, törene katılmayan katılımcılar sertifika alma hakkını kaybedecektir.
3. Başvuru ve Katılım Koşulları
-
Yarışmaya başvuru ücretlidir ve 5.000 TL olarak belirlenmiştir.
-
Yarışma başvurusu, 23 Nisan 2025 tarihine kadar eksiksiz doldurulmuş başvuru formu ile yapılmalıdır. Başvuru sahibi veya velisi, formda yer alan bilgilerin doğruluğunu kabul ve taahhüt eder.

Yarışmacı, başvuru için gerekli üretini Finans Bank, Pasaport Şubesi Fatma Cinpir adına, aşağıdaki hesap numarasına yatırmalıdır:

Hiçbir şart altında başvuru ücreti iade edilmez.
4. Yarışma Kuralları ve Yükümlülükler
-
Yarışmacılar, kendilerine bildirilen saatten en az 1 saat önce yarışma salonunda hazır bulunmalıdır.
-
Yarışmada ezber çalma zorunluluğu vardır.
-
Yarışmacılar, yarışma günü eser notalarını kayıt masasına elden teslim etmelidir.
-
Yarışmacıların tüm ulaşım, konaklama ve yeme-içme giderleri kendilerine aittir.
-
Yarışmanın tüm aşamaları halka açıktır ve izleyicilere ücretsizdir.
5. Jüri ve Değerlendirme
-
Jüri, uygun gördüğü takdirde birden fazla 1., 2. ve 3. lük ödülü verebilir.
-
Aynı dereceye layık görülen yarışmacılar arasında para ödülü eşit şekilde paylaştırılır.
6. Hukuki Yükümlülükler ve Yasal Haklar
-
Yarışmaya katılan tüm adaylar, Şartname'de belirtilen kuralları kabul etmiş sayılır.
-
Yarışma organizasyonu, katılımcıların performanslarının sesli ve görüntülü kaydını almak, yayınlamak ve arşivlemek hakkına sahiptir. Katılımcılar, bu hakların organizasyona ait olduğunu peşinen kabul ederler.
-
Yarışma organizasyonu, öngörülemeyen durumlar sebebiyle Şartname'de değişiklik yapma veya yarışmayı iptal etme hakkını saklı tutar.
-
İşbu Şartname, ilgili yasa ve mevzuatlar çerçevesinde hazırlanmış olup, ihtilaf halinde organizasyonun bulunduğu yer mahkemeleri yetkilidir.
7. Ek Hususlar

Başvuru formuna eklenmesi gereken fotoğraflar vesikalık olmalıdır.

Yaş hesaplamaları 20 Haziran 2025 tarihi baz alınarak yapılacaktır.
-
Yarışma amatör ve profesyonel tüm öğrencilere açıktır. Konservatuvarlar, Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri ve benzeri kurumlarda tam zamanlı olarak öğrenim gören öğrenciler de katılabilir.

FESTIVAL SPECIFICATIONS
MOZART ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL PIANO FESTIVAL SPECIFICATIONS
1-) Festival Categories:
The Mozart Academy Piano Festival will be organized in two categories: 5-12 age groups and 13-20 age groups.
2-) Performance Duration and Number of Works:
Each participant in the 5-12 age category has the right to perform 2 pieces for a maximum of 4 minutes.
Each participant in the 13-20 age category has the right to perform 2 pieces for a maximum of 6 minutes.
Participants can perform a maximum of 2 works, provided that they do not exceed the time allocated to them.
3-) Rewarding:
Each student participating in the festival will be awarded according to one of the success criteria determined by the organizing committee. (You can view the award criteria in the Awards Section.)
4-) Application Conditions:
Candidates who wish to participate in the festival must fill out the application form completely and submit it to us by 30 April 2025 at the latest.
The applicant or his/her guardian accepts and declares that the information provided is accurate.
5-) Application Fee:
The festival application fee is 4,000 TL .
If participation is cancelled for any reason, the application fee is not refundable.
The fee must be deposited into the account number: 79 7660 09 and IBAN number: TR66 0011 1000 0000 0079 7660 09 opened in the name of Fatma Cinpir at Finans Bank Passport Branch.
6-) Festival Participation and Organization Conditions:
All stages of the festival are open to the public and can be watched free of charge.
Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and meal expenses.
Playing from memory is mandatory and the references specified in the works will not be played.
Participants must be present at the concert hall at least 1 hour before the program time announced to them.
7-) Final and Award Ceremony:
5 participants will be selected from the performances throughout the festival and will be entitled to give a concert at the awards ceremony.
8-) Note Delivery:
The notes of the works to be played in the competition must be delivered by hand to the festival registration desks.
9-) Legal Conditions and Disclaimer:
All candidates participating in the festival undertake to comply with the rules determined by the organizing committee.
The organizing committee accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft that may occur during the festival.
Participants allow the organization to use the visual and audio materials they create during or during their participation in the festival for promotional and archival purposes.
The festival organization reserves the right to make changes to the program due to excessive applications or compelling reasons.
Izmir courts have jurisdiction over any legal disputes that may arise during the competition.

Special Awards
📌 Summer Camp Education Award Abroad: Contestants deemed appropriate by the jury will be eligible to receive summer school education at Mozarteum University or one of the Gnessin World Schools in Russia.
This award is an alternative to the cash prize for the first place winners.
📌 Right to a Concert with the Mozart Academy Symphony Orchestra: All students who are successful in all age categories will have the right to give a concert with the Mozart Academy Symphony Orchestra. This special concert will be held in April 2026 at the Izmir Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center.
(This award is given in addition to the cash prize or study abroad award.)
🔹 Education Expenses Abroad: Mozart Academy only covers the education fee. Visa, transportation, accommodation and other additional expenses are the responsibility of the competitor.
📌 Honorable Mention and Special Achievement Awards: Special achievement awards or honorable mentions may be given to contestants who are deemed successful by the jury but did not make it to the top.

🎶 Baroque Period Work (minuet, polonaise, sarabande, prelude and fugue, invention, suite etc.)
🎶 Sonata or Sonata 1st Part (Clementi, Kuhlau, Kabalevsky, Diabelli, Berkovitch,
Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven) or variation/fantasy
🎶 Etude (Czerny, Berens etc.)
Stage 2:
🎶 Free selection of at least 2 works (first stage works cannot be repeated) (Maximum 8 min)
Category C (12-14 Years Old)
Stage 1:
🎶 Polyphonic Piece (2-3 voice composition, prelude and fugue, Partita or Suite – Bach, Shostakovich, Kabalevsky etc.)
🎶 Classical Sonata/Sonata 1st Movement (Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven)
🎶 Etude (Czerny op. 299/740, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Lemuan, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Scriabin, Debussy etc.)
Stage 2:
🎶 At least 2 different period works (first stage works cannot be repeated) (Maximum 10 min)
Category D (15-20 Years Old)
Stage 1:
🎶 Prelude and Fugue, Partita or Suite (Bach, Handel, Shostakovich, Hindemith, Kabalevsky etc.)
🎶 Classical Sonata Part 1
🎶 Virtuoso Etude (Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin etc.)
Stage 2:
🎶 Free Selection (must be a piece that was not stolen in the first stage)
🎶 A work from the Romantic Period
🎶 20th Century work (1 or more works can be selected) (Maximum time: 20 min)
Legal and Participation Conditions
📌 Jury Decisions Are Final: The evaluation process of the competition is at the discretion of the jury board and the results cannot be appealed.
📌 Repertoire Change: Participants cannot change the repertoire they submitted during the application without the permission of the jury.
📌 Time Limits: In cases where the specified time limits are not met, the jury has the right to interrupt or exclude the performance from evaluation.
📌 Use of Notes: Use of notes during the competition is only possible with the permission of the jury.
📌 Competition Recording and Publication Rights: Mozart Academy may record competition performances and use them for educational, promotional or archival purposes. Participants are deemed to have accepted this condition.
📌 Conditions of Participation: Each person participating in the competition is deemed to have accepted all the conditions stated above.
